Date: 8-9 October, 2019
Venue: CSIC delegation in Brussels, Rue de Trone 62, 1050, Brussels
Concept: Widening actions (Teaming, ERA Chairs, Twinning) become increasingly market-oriented, a fact already reflected in Key Performance Indicators cited as partnerships agreement with the industry and contribution to the development of new/improved products or services.
Tech transfer is anticipated to be part of the sustainability plan, whether we refer to Teaming (CoEs) or ERA Chairs or even Twinning projects.
- What are the enabling conditions to streamline technology transfer?
- How does Intellectual Property, as a key component of tech transfer contribute to building sustainable mechanisms for tech transfer?
- What is the role of open innovation and organizational culture?
- What is the impact of the tech transfer activity to academic organizations that truly focused on such activity?
Objective: This mentoring visit aims to provide Widening NCPs a full perspective of the comprising elements of tech transfer. Increase the consulting capacity of NCPs so they can provide guidance to applicants a) to address the tech-transfer issues in the proposal b) capitalise better on the widening opportunities.
