The German Federal Ministry of Education and Research is organizing a national conference on the European Research Area with the motto “Link.Shape.Develop.”, to be held at the Berlin Congress Center (BCC) on 10 October 2016.
Against the background of the Strategy of the Federal Government on the European Research Area (ERA), we would like to take stock of the achievements made so far. Furthermore, the conference shall offer a platform for discussing the developments and challenges which lie ahead in the field of European research and innovation policy. The conference will be held in German and English.
Prof. Dr. Johanna Wanka, Federal Minister of Education and Research, will open the conference. She will be joined by a number of high-ranking national and international guests from politics, research and business. In the afternoon you are invited to participate in one of the seven parallel workshop sessions.
